COLLEGE OF ART CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY, J.J SCHOOL OF ART, MUMBAI, KALA BHAWAN SHANTINIKETAN, M.S.U BARODA etc. In the preparation program student will be covering all important course content required for any Fine Art Colleges. Students also prepare for International Universities for B.F.A Entrance Exams.

STILL LIFE & RAPID SKETCHING (COMMON FOR ALL DEPARTMENTS)

1. Free hand drawing practice
2. Live Still life study with different objects
3. Perspective awareness of outlines, shapes, proportion, tones, colour, texture, form and composition of a particular object.
4. Textured study of different material like Cloth, wood, glass, bronze, Ceramics and steel
5. Understanding of foreground and back ground with drapery
6. Rapid Sketching practice to built-up Observation and drawing skills
7. Selection and arrangement of objects
8. Detailed study of light & shade, tonal variation, composition
9. Study of filling light, various eye level and use of linear perspective in still life

COMPOSITION/SURROUNDINGS PAINTING FOR (PAINTING & PRINT MAKING SPECIALIZATION)

1. Study/practice of various surrounding/composition in Water colour such as Railway Station, Study room, Market scene, Morning Walk, Park and many more
2. Drawing from memory through pencil sketch on themes from day to day experiences.
4. Principal of design, distribution of picture space
5. Study of Golden mean, negative and positive space
6. Perspective Drawing such as buildings, interiors and objects etc.

ILLUSTRATION FOR (APPLIED ART SPECIALIZATION)

1. Illustration from memory through pencil sketch on themes from day to day experiences.
2. Study/practice of various Illustration in Water colour such as Children books illustration, products Aids illustration, story board etc.
3. Study of Golden mean, negative and positive space
4. Design exercise in different media

STORY BOARD & ILLUSTRATION FOR (VISUAL COMMUNICATION SPECIALIZATION)

1. Story of story board from different angles.
2. Interior & Exterior designing
3. Inking with brush and ink pen

CLAY MODELLING FOR (SCULPTURE SPECIALIZATION)

1. Preparation and handling of clay
2. 3 dimensional Figure study with clay
3. Composition from memory with clay (without Armature) like railway station, conversation, tea stall, waiting room etc.

THEORY PART

1. Complete study of Perspective (Eye level, Linear Perspective, Aerial perspective, one point, two points, three points)
2. Complete study of colour theory
3. Art history From (Egypt Art to contemporary Art)
4. Theory book will be provided to student according to current syllabus.
